Less than one month to the sixth edition of Buy Wine to be held in Florence on 12 and 13 February. Now awaited with anticipation the B2B workshop, organized by the Tuscany Regional Promotion to facilitate the matching of the Tuscan wine and the international trade. It does not change the location: once again this year appointment at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. Here, 200 Tuscan producers meet 240 foreign buyers, including importers, distributors, retail chains and HoReCa, from traditional markets, but also from “new” squares for a total of 36 countries represented.

Among them an important role is played by the United States (44), Canada (39), China (25), Brazil (12), Australia (12), Japan (11), Denmark (10), Germany (8), Korea South (7) and Mexico (7) which, together, represent more than 72.9% of international buyers participating. As it regards the manufacturer, however, present almost all the provinces of the region. Lead the way for the territory Siena and Florence, respectively with 68 and 55 companies, followed by: Grosseto (26), Livorno (12), Arezzo (17), Pisa (13), Pistoia (3), Prato (3) and Lucca (3).

Born in 2010, Buy Wine is an event growing steadily that, over the years, is credited as a reference point for buyers from all over the world interested in the Tuscan wine. In the edition 2015 were about 6,000 business meetings on the agenda which brought, in 63% of cases, the conclusion of agreements through which 46% of participants Tuscan companies managed to increase its turnover.

For the fourth consecutive year, finally, Buy Wine launches the sprint to the Previews of Tuscany, February 13 to 20, will present 13 names, to operators and trade journalists, the new wines introduced to the market in 2015. Start Florence the collective at the Star Hotel Michelangelo, where on February 13 there will be eight denominations: Morellino di Scansano, Montecucco, Cortona Wines, Wine of Carmignano, Valdarno di Sopra Doc White of Pitigliano and Sovana, the Maremma and the Colline Lucchesi Doc. the February 14, however, will be the turn of the Chianti Preview. It continues with the Chianti Classico Collection at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence (15-16 / 02), the Preview of the Vernaccia at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art De Grada in San Gimignano (17/02) and the Preview of Vino Nobile in fortress of Montepulciano (18/02).
