Baked bell peppers stuffed with tuna

Ingredients for 4 people
4 peppers
2 cloves of garlic
4 tablespoons olive oil
5 slices of stale bread
milk q.b.
1 red onion
chilli if you like
oregano q.b.
4 anchovy fillets
1 tablespoon capers
some green or blach chopped olive
180 g of canned tuna
chopped parsley
1. Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
2. Wash the peppers and cut them in half, remove the seeds and pith.
3. Arrange the peppers in a baking dish topped with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and finely chopped garlic, cook in the oven for about 20 minutes.
4. In a bowl, break up the bread, cover with milk and let stand for 10 minutes.
5. In a pan pour a little oil, heat and add the chopped onion making it brown. Combine the chilli if you like, anchovies and oregano, mix thoroughly and cook for about 3 minutes on medium heat.
. 6 In a bowl add the bread wrung well, capers, olives, tuna, well drained, chopped parsley, the cooked sauce, mix thoroughly to mix well.
7. Stuff the peppers with the stuffing, drizzle with oil and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, for another 5 minutes to place the pan under the grill to brown the well-baked peppers stuffed with tuna
8. Serve hot, good even cold.
